Position Title: *Quality Engineer

Position Overview: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance within our production setting. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and requirements. Works closely with reports, cross-functional teams to develop, implement and maintain quality management systems, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations & product specifications.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence and optimize processes.

  • Collaborate with production to develop and deliver quality training programs for employees to ensure understanding of quality standards and procedures.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive performance improvements.

  • Stay current on industry trends, developments, and best practices in quality management.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in similar engineering, quality management, or a related field.

  • Experience in quality roles within a production setting.

  • Familiar with quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards).

  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
