Your Opportunity

The Production Resourcce Specialist 3 sets expectations in all aspects of production and business relations to producers and evaluates producer performance using the company’s standardized evaluation form.

Core Responsibilities

  • Communicate and enforce expectations based on contractual obligations and regulations to producers

  • Work within a team to communicate needs of site to influence pig performance to other specialties

  • Evaluate producers using company’s standardized evaluation forms

  • Create strategies and bring a level of understanding with producers to elevate their abilities in production

  • Accountable for reporting to Team Leader on all aspects of their area of influence

  • Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Smithfield, dba Murphy Brown LLC subscribes.

  • Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.

  • Read and understand the company’s emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.

  • Responsible for complying with all animal welfare laws and procedures to which Smithfield, dba Murphy-Brown LLC subscribes.

  • Incumbent will be responsible for understanding and complying with company EMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in an Agriculture or Business-Related field or equivalent in agriculture or management work experience, required.

  • Ability to navigate and report data

  • Current and valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR

  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and Apps such as Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.

  • Must be available to work nights and weekends when necessary.

  • Pre-employment drug screen

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
