ZIEGLER INC Yard Operator (Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm) in ALTOONA, Iowa

Ziegler Cat has an opening for a full-time Yard Operator to support our customers, service, and sales personnel. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth.Responsibilities:Ship, receive, and operate equipment in the yardPromptly greet and assist customers in the yardEnsure proper documentation of incoming/outgoing equipmentMaintain a clean and orderly yardAssist with shop and facility clean up and maintenanceMaintain grounds including snow removalMonitor and maintain fuel and fluid levels for shops and on branch machineryPark equipment in designated areas, according to appearance and guidelinesWork collaboratively on a teamProvide assistance to other departments as requestedComplete responsibilities safelyQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required3+years experience requiredin shop or operating equipment or related dutiesPersonal Characteristics: attention to detail, dependable, self-starter, customer-focused, efficient, and team playerAbility to operate machinery and perform job duties safelyMinimum Physical Requirements:Push/pull up to 50 lbsLift/carry up to 50 lbsLift bulky objectsNeck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, crawling, walking.Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor.
