FUNCTION OVERVIEW:

The System Integration Engineer Integrates Technology/ Design/ Sub Systems to ensure the System Function & Form Requirements are delivered for Entire Product Life Cycle per stakeholder needs as predicted.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and Validate System Level Requirements for both Function & Form to achieve Product Leadership (PL) to include Stakeholder needs

• Integrate, Validate and Approves IDPs and KG & Closure plans while considering Architecture, Technology and Manufacturing Roadmaps/ Strategies

• Drive development & closure of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) action plans based on Concept validation (CV) and Design validation (DV) data and functional performance stacks

• Scope, Manage & Approve Technical tradeoffs to deliver Requirements for Production Project from Concept to PV incl Schedule, Cost and Quality

• Lead Coaching of Tech Team, Design Risk assessment & Management at System and Subsystem Level throughout the project including Advanced product quality planning (APQP) & Whirlpool Product Development (WPD)

• Drive delivery of Verification and validation (V&V) plan and Global Product Approval (GPA) while incorporating Mathematical & Physical Approaches for predictability & design limit understanding.

• Develop/ Update Attribute Performance, Special Characteristics for High Impact factors, Part Reuse, Reusable Knowledge EX-Design Guides and adjustments to Architecture Roadmaps

• Support Architecture & Planning teams for Planning Cycle incl Project Scoping, Architecture & Technology Roadmaps

• Travel up to 20% travel within United States & Internationally

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Thermodynamics or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 2+ years Project Engineering & Technical Design Experience for Product Development with concentration of System Integration

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Masters in Thermodynamics or Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 3+ years Project Engineering & Technical Design Experience for Product Development with concentration of System Integration

• Project development and execution experience
