Job Posting Title: Crop Nutrients- Business Solutions Specialist Job Description: As a member of the Crop Nutrients business, will prioritize and manage technology projects and initiatives. Requires interaction and alignment with Land OLakes Information Technology group regarding systems and priorities. Frequent communication with CN management to ensure business needs are being met. CN IT Project/Incident/Enhancement Management - 40% Coordinates and leads activities in support of all CN IT projects. Meets regularly with CN key stakeholders across the corporate organization, for planning, review, prioritization and management of key technology initiatives for the CN business unit (CNBU) Implements any changes, enhancement or modifications of the operating systems of CN. Resolves questions of program intent, data input, output requirements and inclusions of internal checks and controls. Applies knowledge of the business, their systems and processes. Responsible for managing CN IT spend including budgeting, project estimates and filling out requests documentation for appropriate approvals. Leverage information systems contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer software, networks and information systems when needed. Evaluates interrelationship between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part. Requirements Gathering, Documentation & Testing - 25% Provides assistance and guidance for documentation of the business and functional requirements and the understanding of process issues. Documents programming problems and resolutions for future reference. Creates data in test environment as required. Execute QA/QC/testing as needed. Support for the business unit - 20% Focuses on understanding the needs of the business unit as a whole and identifies initiative that will meet these needs. Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed. Other duties that may be assigned. Research and Product Recommendation-15% Responsible for researching and recommending new products, identifying new market opportunities and leading efforts to improve IT processes in alignment with company direction. Ability to write summaries, reports, business correspondence, and procedure instructions.
