TheIndustrial Technology Internwill work closely with our Process Technicians and Engineers in many areas of our manufacturing facility to assist in various paint system improvements, support process flow, and improve inventory management.Job Responsibilities Major: Industrial Technology or EngineeringLevel of Education:Junior/Senior year in Fall of 2021Work availability: 16 hours/week during Spring Semester (Preferably 11am - 7pm Friday and Saturday). Up to 40 hours/week during Summer months Able to interact with all levels of organization (Shop floor to Management)Familiar with basic hand toolsCAD and simulation experience a plusUnderstanding of automated processesBackground and Skills Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Help improve paint system flowHelp design and implement process improvements on paint lineProvide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)Work with supply chain to improve inventory managementHelp improve ergonomics throughout Operational Services areaKaizen/Continuous Improvement project participate Participate in RCPS/DPP activities and projects4-Step / 8D participationGain Familiarity with TPM techniques/activitiesHelp develop/update SOP'sDanfoss - Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
