Tracking Code20190767Job DescriptionJOB OVERVIEW:Performs logistic and administrative support to include coordinating load planning and freight movement.Process shipment requests, plan and optimize shipments into loads using TMS, tender freight to third-party carriers, update TMS with current shipment information and respond to internal and external customer inquiries.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Answer and route incoming phone calls as required.Greet and direct all DC visitors.Become proficient in the use of the Transportation Management System and SAP.Create documentation for shipments as required.Post goods issue on shipments.Maintain accurate, complete paperwork and proper forwarding of all International documentation.Research any discrepancies that arise and work with all parties until resolved.Maintain accurate spreadsheet on all incoming and outgoing International parts shipments.Obtain hazardous material shipping training; complete all hazardous material paperwork as required.Communicate with Toro Fleet and common carriers as required.Maintain open communication relationship with Domestic and International Order Services and assist in efforts to resolve issues.File all required paperwork created in job duties in a timely manner.Maintain required files and rotate as required each year.Make copies and fax paperwork as required.Maintain and order office supplies on a monthly basis.Complete forms and paperwork for office personnel as required.Maintain warehouse supply spreadsheet as required.Miscellaneous duties and projects as directed.JOB DIMENSIONS:Position directly affects distribution center workflow and customer satisfaction; frequent contact with internal and external customers.Some contact with all levels of distribution, customers and vendors; no travel expected.Work environment is typical to professional office lighting, seating, and noise level.SPECIFICATIONS:High school education or GED required; college education preferred.Minimum of one (1) year warehouse, inventory control, or order fulfillment experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong keyboarding skills; SAP experIEnce a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with and meet customer needs (internal and external).Tactful in conflict resolution situations.Ability to manage large workload and excel at prioritizing and organizing tasks.Strong data entry and system navigation skills required.Must be able to work effectively in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment.Ability to make a valuable contribution to team objectives.Aptitude to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations.Must be accurate and organized.The Toro Company (NYSE: TTC) is a leading worldwide provider of innovative solutions for the outdoor environment including turf maintenance, snow and ice management, landscape, rental and specialty construction equipment, and irrigation and outdoor lighting solutions.
