Responsible for supporting our existing Service Controls customers for preventative maintenance, small projects, system upgrades, troubleshooting issues and problems as well as system improvements. Roles and responsibilities are in line with strategic goals of Baker Group. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Provide technical support on Building IT by Baker Group products and various other control products and technical integration (integrations to 3rd part systems) to operations. Deliver integrated solutions. Provide on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues
Actively participate in technician training.
Act as presenter updating technical support to field technicians on company products
Diagnose, repair, basic programming, commissioning, and resolve technical problems on jobs and HVAC DDC control systems; and provide appropriate reports to project management
Work with other technicians to develop and share technical solutions
Review new technical documentation and provides communications and training from other field technicians
Maintain technical expertise on all new products, tools, and integration through continuing education initiatives
Provide on-site assistance with or perform the programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through on assigned jobs, complete all job closeout documentation and provide customer training
Act as a technical resource to existing customers and field employees as needed. Coordinate work with subcontractors and project manager
Graphics of DDC systems
Day-to-day servicing and maintenance
Experience with HVAC & DDC systems preferred
Must have good driving record
A contingency for employment will require the successfully passing of a background investigation
Mental and Physical Competencies required to perform essential functions:
Excellent computer skills
Customer service and communication skills
HVAC skills a plus
