SIEMENS WIND ENERGY Technical Project Manager in Burlington, Iowa
Siemens Energy Inc seeks a Technical Project Manager to be responsible for successfully managing a portfolio of projects that include dealing effectively with clients. Develop a working knowledge of the organization, policies, procedures, business systems and tools as they relate to projects, as well as key suppliers and subcontractors. Have accountability for management of scope, schedule, budget and risk for the supply of steam turbines, and related systems to ensure successful project execution with predictable outcomes from order entry through the warranty period. 15% domestic/international travel required. Telecommuting is also permitted.
**Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience. Experience must include 3 years in the following skills: dealing directly with project stakeholders including clients; knowledge of project management concepts, practices and procedures and schedule management tools; proficiency in computer systems, including MS Word, excel, PowerPoint; and matrix reporting structure. 15% domestic/international travel required. Telecommuting is also permitted.
