Accountemps is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available to start immediately. As the Accounting Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of International Construction Company. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Cedar Falls, Iowa area and will be a long-term temporary-to-full-time position. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

Your responsibilities

• Provide support during internal and external audits

• Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

• Perform special projects as assigned

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Manage full-cycle A/P

• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

• Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

Requirements

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Microsoft Excel experience required

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
