SW Test Engineer Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Job ID: #67648 Pay Range: $76-87 ph (W2) Duration: 6 - 12 mos As a systems-level team, this team has opportunities for direct customer and end user interaction as well as coordination across subsystem teams and stakeholders. This position is onsite at our Cedar Rapids, IA location. Primary Responsibilities: This position will primarily focus on providing the following: *Deployment and test of software builds into the real system. *Troubleshooting networking and system configuration (TCP/IP, XML) *Getting hands-on and making things work (Linux, Python) *After training there may be customer support opportunities at various military sites Basic Qualifications: -Must have experience with at least one programming language. -U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with Python and networking (UDP and IPv4) -Experience with Linux / RHEL -Experience with Agile/Scrum -Experience with hardware, software, or systems level testing -Desire to successfully work in a team environment, establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers in person and through technology.
