The Lead DevOps Engineer will be in this group.Job Description

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will work on an Agile team with Developers from our Business Units, helping them to deliver Business Value and Outcomes. You will help to develop, test and implement infrastructure code to assist the Team in achieving their goals. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and skills, all while working in an exciting and dynamic work environment, on the cutting edge.

Qualifications:

  • Develop, Deploy and Support Cloud Infrastructure, as code artifacts or modules

  • Four-year Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 5 or more years of experience including 3 years of experience in supporting enterprise-level platform installations

  • Design, Install and Maintain (upgrade/patch underlying infrastructure)

  • Support and deliver using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines

  • Design and Support resiliency and scalability using AWS and other cloud platforms

  • Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting

  • Support the Team and Customers with day-to-day requests, Change and Incident tickets

  • Support Technology stack refresh on Systems (end-to-end) when required

  • Ensure automated security is built into each technology stack

  • Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.

  • Must have experience with Agile development and planning methodologies

  • Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments

  • Experience in performance monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting in an enterprise

  • Holistic understanding of the internet and hosting from the network layer up through the application layer

  • Should have a strong focus on security, including automated alerting and response

  • Source Code Configuration Management repository (GitHub, BitBucket)

  • Should have a strong understanding of API’s and API Security

  • Familiarity with CloudFormation and JSON

  • Should have a strong background in automated code testing

  • Certifications in relevant technologies, methods, or platforms are a plus

  • Demonstrate the key critical behaviors of commitment to task, communication, customer focus, decision making/problem solving, tolerance of ambiguity, planning, prioritizing, and goal setting

    Compensation:

    The salary for this position generally ranges between $110,000 - $160,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

    Bonus Eligibility:

    This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 15%.

    Working Conditions

  • After hour’s on-call participation may be required

  • Some travel may be required not to exceed an average of 2 weeks per quarter
