The Manufacturing Electrical Engineering Co-op may be responsible for:
Mentor with current engineers supporting manufacturing test processes and equipment
Collaborate with test engineering to troubleshoot and develop test stations
Collaborate with test software engineering to optimize test software capabilities
Collection and analysis of quality/test failure data
Development and management of test documentation/test fixtures/cables
Learn and utilize tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SAP, Jira)
Contribute to team efforts driving customer satisfaction through quality and on-time delivery
Preferred Skills (but not required)
Working knowledge and competency with C, C++ and/or Linux
Experience coding in an embedded environment
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory
Ability to read electronic schematics and analyze circuits
Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
GPA of 3.0 or above is required
Must be willing to work 40 hours per week
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills
Collaborates well with team members
Presentation will be required at the end of the session, reflecting on experiences and knowledge gained from the business.
Some time will be spent on a shop floor working directly with test technicians
