Support and enhance purchasing processes and communication that effectively interface with all departments.
Ensure staff maintains on-time processing of orders consistent with demand signals
Oversee the relationships with Accounts Payable (GBS/Basware) and vendors to reduce/minimize discrepancies.
Maintain high degree of communication between Buyers and Supply Chain Director.
Manage day to day activities of all Buyers supporting customer demand and driving improvements to the system.
Provide feedback to Supply Chain Director for staffing requirements based on business needs and growth.
Assist in the hiring, training, development of staff, and performance evaluations on an annual basis.
Monitor and enforce corporate purchasing policies (daily, monthly, yearly) and procedures to include maintenance of signature levels (DOA)
Assist in the design and implementation of various purchasing strategies and procurement policies and participate in all supplier reduction programs in coordination with global supply chain team and determine appropriate programs for all purchase requirements and assist to reduce supply chain cost.
Assist the Supply Chain Director in utilizing KPIs and other analytical reports to balance, reconcile and identify trends and adjust to the needs of the business.
- BS Degree or 5 years of Purchasing Experience
Requires specialization in supply chain development and execution.
Requires proven success in managing multiple suppliers to deliver on time with a focus on quality and cost adherence.
Requires sufficient problem-solving skills to troubleshoot situations such as material shortages, quality, and delivery problems.
Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Strong drive for customer satisfaction.
Requires the ability to perform the various aspects of the job.
Requires the ability to review performance.
