U.S. Bank Robotics Process Automation - Technology Consultant / Manager in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
U.S. Bank is seeking a talented Senior Technology Consultant with the ability to identify, learn and apply IT technologies to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. This role will focus in the area of digital workforce transformation specifically related to Robotics Automation and related emerging technologies and associated services and processes. Leads the expansion of our automation and digital transformation solution offerings. Establishes services to enable business and technology teams to learn and use robotics and related technologies. Consults with senior IT Management, technical staffs, and business lines regarding use of emerging technologies and services. Provides views of business processes to find the best business value through the use of different technology components. Participates in the evaluation, selection, and application of new and emerging tools and techniques. Evaluates compliance with the organization's current and future technical standards and portfolios. Analyzes market trends concerning new technologies. Identifies need and directs effort for new standards. Develops new technology standards in collaboration with the standard's owner. Reviews standards. Provides input and direction to the standards process. Establishes and maintains relationships with key vendors, primarily focusing on industry leaders for existing and potential new technologies. Provides feedback to vendors to ensure continued architectural compatibility of the technology portfolio.
Role can expand into a managerial position overseeing the enablement services team.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
-At least 7 years experience with the concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
-At least 3 years in team leadership or manager position.
Extensive experience in:
-Information security management
-System software infrastructure
-Application Systems Development (.NET preferred)
-Pega platform experience (desired)
Subject matter expert in:
-IT industry trends and direction
-Product and vendor evaluation
-System and technical integration
-IT standards, procedures, policy
-Application delivery process
