The Role: In this role, you will:

  • Work with a team composed of Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers under the guidance and mentorship of the Project Engineer to design, develop and maintain factory and lab test solutions.

  • Design and create schematics for circuit cards to be used within test solutions.

  • Develop test software in C# or C to be used in the lab or factory test environment.

  • Support Design and Manufacturing Engineering with product test solutions.

  • Integrate test hardware and software with GPS Navigation & Sensor Systems products.

  • Work with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Test equipment, some examples are power supplies, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and National Instruments PXI hardware.

  • Troubleshoot test failures both on Unit Under Test (UUT) and on test stations by helping to identify root cause of the failures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.

  • Must have 5 years experience working in the engineering field.

  • Must be able to read electronic/electrical schematics.

  • Must have ability to write C# and C code.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Strong software skills in C# and C .

  • Past experience creating electrical designs and schematics.

  • Past experience designing test solutions for factory environments.

  • Experience using with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Test equipment.
