Job Description SummaryAs part of the Procurement Strategy & Enablement team, focuses on Ariba centric transformation projects, including process design and technology implementation, with the goal of reducing costs, increasing spend visibility and compliance, and increasing stakeholder satisfaction. Works with vendors to integrate into the P2P process. Collaborates with other functional areas to ensure proper buying channels are identified and implemented in P2P.Job DescriptionResponsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for procurement system functionality and processes.

  • Advise and lead procurement system support and provide data for special projects.

  • Develop a P2P supplier enablement strategy to include processes, infrastructure and governance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate testing, implementation, and on-going education.

  • Advise and support the implementation of the supplier onboarding process.

  • Leverage existing procurement systems and related technologies for e-sourcing, catalogs, contract management, spend analytics, etc.

  • Enable suppliers to transact over the supplier network, including set up of catalogs and system integrations (EDI or CXML).

  • Establish supplier compliance policies and enforcement strategies to ensure program adherence.

  • Ensure the consistent use of best in class procurement methodologies and tools.

  • Create and implement system and process optimization strategy.

  • Partner with Procurement, Outsourcing and Vendor Management leads to ensure alignment of processes; drive best practices, including standardized RFX templates, bid analysis, project summaries, use of tools, etc.

  • Assist with the development of training documents, training new hires and resolving system-related issues.

  • Perform supplier analysis to prioritize onboarding; work with technical team to develop standards for supplier interfaces.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree, or equivalent experience

  • Five years of experience in procurement, outsourcing and vendor management

  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and vendor management end-to-end processes

  • Experience using sourcing and procurement tools

  • Experience in data analysis and gathering information from a broad stakeholder base

  • Communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Technical aptitude and strong computer skills

  • Proficiency using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Ariba Source-to-Pay implementations

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
