AFNA makes flexible packaging solutions for food and beverage, healthcare, and home and personal care applications.Job DescriptionThe treater operator's primary function is to produce and inspect product by operating an electron beam curing unit (EBCU). Operate machinery by loading and unloading film, producing film per product specifications, troubleshoot equipment and product related issues and documenting production in AIMS/SAPII.DutiesThe treater operator is responsible for operating all treater equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Operate assigned web within the bounds of the machine operating standards (ESOC's).Maintain product quality in accordance with product standards, treatment level, and visual attributes (creases, scratches, or feathered edge).Make up necessary packing configurations (boxes and pallets).Ability to operate the Rewinder. Ability to take radiation readings with the victoreen.Ability to operate all EBCU units in to relieve and rotate.Ability to take all machine readings.Follow all Quality Policies and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) set forth in the training manual.Maintains continuous machine operations between shifts by reporting to assigned workstation on time and communicating operational conditions with incoming/outgoing shifts.Maintains continuous machine operations during shift by loading and unloading rolls, monitoring machine settings, inputting production into AIMS/SAP, packaging product, troubleshooting machine product related issues and completing production documentation.Performs and is responsible for in-process and final on-line inspection of manufactured product.Ensures quality control requirements are met by reviewing all special instructions and requirements.Resolves production problems by altering minor machine set points.Notifies shift Supervisor for assistance as needed.Discontinues manufacturing operations until problem are resolved.Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Other duties as assigned.III. Position RequirementsAble to perform basic math skills, document, and process required paperwork.Visual acuity: must have good vision, either naturally or corrected, be able to see subtle color differences and details in order to check film quality, colors, alignment and to set EBCU run parameters.Able to read and follow written procedures.Knowledge of Computer/Electronics: frequent use of computers,
