Aventure Staffing Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant in Cherokee, Iowa
Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant | $15.00/hr.
Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm
Are you an experienced housekeeper that can prioritize tasks? Are you able to work independently with minimal supervision? If so, this position is for you!! We are hiring a Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant for a senior care facility in Marcus, IA! As an Housekeeper, you will work with staff members and patients to keep the facility clean and running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes to stay busy.
Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare resident rooms, beds, stretchers, and other assigned areas in a timely and efficient manner.
Complete daily reports and paperwork as assigned.
Clean up after accidents or abnormal spills throughout the facility.
Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
Replenish linen and other supplies in the assigned area(s) and on housekeeping carts.
Remove linen and trash from patient rooms, lobbies, bathrooms, stairwells, and other common areas of the facility.
Clean bathrooms, toilets, cleaning furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units, scrubbing floors and walls, and perform other general tasks related to sanitation and hygiene.
Clean clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with departmental and facility policy.
Requirements:
Must have knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures, previous healthcare cleaning a plus!
Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and frequent interruptions.
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines on daily work.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to perform repetitive work, or to continuously perform the same work, according to set procedure, sequence, or pace.
Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
Mandatory reporter 1 hour class completion (will be provided to you if not completed).
Benefits & Pay:
Starting pay: $15.00/hr.
Paid every Friday.
