Job no: 494479This position supports the team by providing strategic direction to optimize business processes around provider data. The Individual would be accountable to provide guidance and to communicate the technical and business changes with internal and external customers. The individual will provide analysis and direction, where subject matter expertise is required.What you'll doOperates as a Subject Matter Expert with extensive business and technical knowledge on the feasibility and implementation of system and process changes, including post deployment operational support. Engages the appropriate individuals, teams and/or groups regarding technology/platform changes that affect business.Serves as a liaison and Point of Contact for external organizations (e.g., CoreLink, BCBS Association, Blue Distinction Centers, CMS, Director's Office/Operations Center, etc.) and internal customers (e.g., IT Delivery Teams such as ACE, Provider Solutions, CSC, etc.).Governs all system enhancements to ensure business value is delivered in the most cost effective manner.Evaluates technical and business change, makes appropriate business decisions, recommending business solutions, and strategic planning / strategic initiatives.Provides final approval for requirements, functional specs and user acceptance test scenarios and may assist with testing.Participates and contributes proactively and constantly in team activities (i.e., standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, project planning, communities of practice, etc.).Participates on internal and external cross-functional work groups.Provides guidance and shares knowledge on technical and interpersonal escalated issues and questions.Supports and backs up the Workforce Manager and the Delivery Manager to maintain and provide input into day-to-day operations.Includes advising on prioritizing escalated issues, backlog priorities, and resolving impediments and other team issues.
