Description

Robert Half is hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our client's finance team! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts

Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations

Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and best practices

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
