Robert Half is hiring for a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our client's team! As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and billing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include generating invoices, reconciling billing statements, and communicating with clients to resolve any billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Review billing data for accuracy and completeness.

Maintain billing records and documentation.

Reconcile billing statements with accounts receivable ledger.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.

Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and concerns.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing information.

Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports to management.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to billing and invoicing.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Billing or related field (e.g., Certified Billing and Coding Specialist).

Familiarity with billing procedures in the [industry/sector] is a plus.

Experience with electronic billing systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
