JOIN OUR TEAM!We are looking for Direct Support Staff to help support our clients by teaching daily living skills, providing protective oversight and promoting physical and emotional health. This may include teaching a client how to ride the bus, proper hygiene, taking them to appointments, etc. The Direct Support position is great for those who want to make a difference and gain mental health experience! We are currently looking fori1st shift positions.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Provide appropriate interventions to teach or maintain client's skills dependent upon client needsProvide protective oversight and supervisionDocument services and communicate regularly with others to ensure continuity of careWork with clients on various goalsTransport clients to appointments, jobs, etc.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:High school graduate or equivalent (GED) is required. Bachelor's Degree in Human Services preferred.A valid driver's license with a driving record that will allow insurabilityAbility to pass a pre-employment physical with a drug and alcohol screenPrevious experience working with the chronically mentally ill population preferredWHO YOU ARE:Humble.
