JOB SUMMARYThe Part-Time Distribution Clerk is responsible for performing the final quality check of the product; packaging appropriately for efficiency, safety and security; completing all jobs with correct documentation, and returning/storing all customer supplied material as specified by the job ticket. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the work in accordance with our safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost efficiency and process reliability expectations.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESiAccurately completes all jobs according to job specifications; reviews job ticket in its entirety, for planned orders prior to starting the job and follows the instructionsiPerforms the final quality check and completes orders through the proper flowpath using appropriate documentation, packaging, labeling, and ship method; reviews packing list in its entirety prior to shipping to ensure accuracyiPreserves customer materials in clean and undamaged conditioniAssigns and arranges for quoting and shipping via 3rd party LTLs and major parcel carriers as requirediUpdates spreadsheets/systems as requirediProduces and prints reports as requirediSend Advance Ship Notices through fax, EDI, or emails as requirediLearns and works with other programs as requirediCoordinates and maintains appropriate inventory levels of supplies and materials from appropriate resources (ex: boxes, envelopes, bill of lading forms, totes, packaging material, etc.)iPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS iMust be able to work Monday - Friday 2pm - 7pm and occasional overtimeiHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) requirediSix months related experience and/or training preferred.
