DescriptionWe are seekinga QAQC Manager to join our team.Job Summary of Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include successful management of technical and financial aspects of multi-disciplinary SCI substation projects, management and development of client relationships.Accountable for managing engineering design for multiple substation projects, including engineering schedule and budget performance, quality of engineering solutions and deliverables, and coordination of design, procurement, and construction.Directs the production of engineering deliverables encompassing all aspects of utility substation design including: arrangement drawings, single lines, three lines, AC and DC schematics, equipment wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, calculations, and related electrical system studies.Manages all aspects of complex substation projects and makes project engineering execution decisions. Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members. Responsible for coordinating project schedules.Quality / Continuous Improvement: Promotes a culture that is conducive to quality.Requirements:Strong prior experience in preparation of engineering deliverables for substations up to 500kVBachelors Degree from an ABET accredited institution or able to show significant experience in similar roles described above.10 years progressive experience managing overhead and/or underground line, substation and/or electrical studies projects at distribution and transmission voltagesAbility to work in the United States for any length of timeValid U.S. drivers licenseDesired Education/Experience: Project Management Professional certificationSpecialized training in project management of electric utility system projectsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
