The successful candidate will design and implement inspection and testing procedures for our precision, high-stakes Mission Systems products. This position is located in Davenport, IowaKey Responsibilities:Interface with all CMS engineering disciplines and with customers and suppliers on quality related issuesProvide technical input on quality and contractual issues to internal stakeholders and external customersServe as Quality Representative on configuration control board as necessaryServe as a Quality Representative chair material review board and/or inspection review teamServe as Quality Representative on integrated product teamsServe as Quality Representative on corrective action teamsDesign or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipmentAnalyze production, service limitations, standards, and recommend revisions of specifications when indicatedReview design concepts and technical documentationPerform necessary tests with equipment and effectively document test resultsFormulate or help formulate quality assurance policies and proceduresCompile and perform various reports and auditsMay write procedural documentsAssist with the implementation of quality standards and regulatory requirementsMay conduct training on quality assurance concepts and toolsPerform all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principlesLess than 25% travel requiredAll other related duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Completed Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of two years of experiencein a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of two years of experience with AS9100/ISO 9001-2008This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US.
