Training and Development CoordinatorDavenport, IA, USA Req #310Friday, October 2, 2020Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services toour partnerhospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC's testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.MVRBC has an exciting opportunity available for a Training and Development Coordinator. In this position you would be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of training programs for the Donor Relations staff of Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center utilizing Adult Learning Theory and Training Delivery guidelines. In this position you would also be responsible for collaborating with Donor Relations to identify trends for retraining and training initiatives for the team.The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience working in a regulatory environment, prior training or education experience, and the ambition to motivate others. A high school diploma, or equivalent, plus an additional 2 years of formal education is required. Equivalent combination of demonstrated work experience and education may be considered. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, be insurable by MVRBC's insurance carrier, and be willing to drive within the MVRBC service area.This is a full time position primarily first shift Monday through Friday with occasional, approximately 20-25%, night/weekend shifts and travel within the MVRBC service area.We offer excellent benefits including health/dental/vision, and 401(k).
