The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC's testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center has an opening in our Volunteer Resources Department. MVRBC has an established and robust volunteer program with more than 300 volunteers throughout our service territory. We are currently hiring for a Volunteer Resources Scheduling Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining schedules for our volunteers and operational departments. The ability to handle large volume schedules while providing excellent customer service is vital to this position. This is a fulltime/30+ position working Monday-Friday 30-39 hours per week. Responsibilities can include: Filling volunteer requests by communicating with our volunteer pool Creating and maintaining schedules in our volunteer software system Providing excellent customer service to our departments and volunteers Assist with recruitment and on-boarding of volunteers Qualifications: High school competencies Previous experience with scheduling and scheduling software preferred Previous experience working with volunteers a plus What we offer: Competitive wages.
