Job Summary:
The Anthropology and Sociology Department seeks an outstanding anthropology instructor for Fall 2024 semester to teach one section of Introduction to Cultural Anthropology. Classes start late August.
The search committee is particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have an advanced degree in anthropology or course equivalents and prior experience teaching first-year courses. Masters or Ph.D. in Anthropology, record of quality teaching and inclusive pedagogy. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching Intro to Cultural Anthropology.
Salary
Salary is competitive with peer schools and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
