Description:

The newly developed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA program) at Drake University invites applications for a full-time, consecutive-term, with option to convert to tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Applied Behavior Analysis, starting fall 2021. A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in ABA, or a closely related field, is preferred, though ABDs close to completion will be considered. Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is required. Area of expertise is open. Appointment is 9 months and the teaching load is nine hours per semester. The faculty member will be instrumental in the development and coordination of an online certificate program. Primary teaching assignments include graduate online courses that meet requirements for a verified course sequence (e.g., principles of behavior, research methods in behavior analysis, behavioral intervention, etc.). Additionally, supervision of graduate student practicum experiences for the Master’s program is expected.
