Our team s priorities are:Providing an experiential approach which guides a differentiated property management experience, resulting in better care and better businessSupport the exponential growth of our business by providing people integration and synergyDevelop our people for bigger and better rolesSupporting ambitions beyond the workplaceApplying new technology and data to drive changeWhat this job involvesManaging industry changing propertiesAs the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will manage a small portfolio and/or work alongside the General Manager to assist in managing an office portfolio. Multi-tasking and flexibility are essential skills needed in this role. Preparing financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, engaging with tenants and ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service will be the keys to success.Creating strategic and collaborative solutionsYou are an individual who sees the big picture, acts decisively and focuses on creating an energized and collaborative environment. As an Assistant General Manager, you will contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives and best practices to drive results as a team. A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.Iowa real estate license requiredMinimum of three (3) years of commercial property management experience is preferredExperience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other types of related financial reports is requiredExperience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin or MRI is requiredAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior level management, clients, tenants, vendors, peers and the public.A relationship builderBoth verbal and written communication skills are vital, and, of course you ll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization and external clients.Tech mindedThe real estate industry is consistently changing with technology. You ll need to make technology work to your advantage.
