Principal Commercial Mortgage Servicing – Asset Manager in Des Moines, Iowa
As an Asset Manager in Commercial Mortgage Servicing, you’ll work to serve borrowers’ needs for the proactive servicing of an assigned portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including but not limited to escrow releases, lease reviews, loan underwriting, and amended loan documents. You’ll perform risk analysis and recommend course of action to various parties including portfolio managers, underwriting staff, clients and others.
Other kinds of things you’ll do:
Complete commercial real estate mortgage loan servicing duties which includes:
Monitor borrowers’ compliance with loan documents and the structuring, documenting and closing of complex servicing transactions.
Complete analysis to make effective risk recommendations and provide creative solutions that meet the borrowers’ needs.
Present recommendations to Commercial Mortgage Servicing staff, portfolio managers and other servicers.
Perform risk management duties by proactively monitoring problem loans and communicate with portfolio managers and others. Analyze, document and negotiate loan modifications to minimize potential risk.
Deliver quality customer service in order to obtain client and borrower satisfaction.
We’re looking for someone with:
Bachelor's degree in a finance, real estate or related field.
3+ years related servicing, underwriting, closing experience or equivalent. (Previous commercial real estate experience is helpful.)
Ability to read legal documents, assess and make recommendations.
Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret loan documents, assess risk, and make recommendations based on independent analysis.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with MS Office suite.
