Principal is searching for a Director of Internal Audit to lead all aspects of global IT audit and advisory services. This position is also a great way to advance your career. In this role you would provide leadership and support execution of IT audit and advisory work, including coverage of IT infrastructure, security and application controls. Responsibilities include to maintain a dynamic, well-aligned, risk-based audit plan; to assess IT-related risks; and to work with management to identify actions to improve related controls. Additionally, the position is responsible for identifying and supporting the Internal Audit department’s efforts to advance and maximize the use of data analytics and other tools supporting audit execution.

The successful candidate for this position will possess a high level of technical expertise. Specifically, the requirements for this job are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer sciences, information systems, business administration or similar degree.

  • 12+ years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of the company's business and IT practices, or ability to quickly learn them, as well as understanding of emerging IT issues and trends

  • Understanding of technical audit approaches and tool; including risk and control considerations, or ability to work understand them

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to build and advance strategic vision and provide leadership to a team providing global coverage of IT-related audit work

  • Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with all internal and external customers

  • Consistent demonstrable ability to identify and assess complex risk management issues and work with internal partners to resolve them.

  • Ability to embrace and understand the change process and effectively guide others through change

  • Global travel may be required (10-15%)
