This position is a training program to move into a Lead Field Technician position within an 18-24 month period. Field Technician duties include performing installation and routine service and repairs of a variety of electronic equipment such as instruments of communication, surveillance, alarms, etc. Additional responsibilities and required skills include the following:1. Ability to work closely under the direction of a Lead Field Technician.2. Ability to learn and interpret ACI drawings and termination schedules.3. Ability to terminate PLC door relays, Intercoms, Card Readers, and CCTV headend panels.4. Ability to terminate field devices.5. Ability to set-up control stations.6. Learn how ACI software works with relationship of the hardware.7. Ability to assist with troubleshooting process on project installations and service calls.8. Complete OSHA 30 training.9. Coordinate work progress and activities with Project Managers and Department Managers at ACI.10. Provide support to Lead Field Technician with all on-site tasks as determined by Lead Field Technician and Project Manager. Required to report work progress daily to Lead Field Technician. 11. Ladder/High Lift work required.12. Field Technicians travel to/from job sites in company provided vehicles or via commercial airlines.
