Aerotek HR Consultant in Des Moines, Iowa

Description:

This is kind of a hybrid role for the HR team. In many ways it is a HR Consulting role supporting various company initiatives (such as business transformation, expense reduction) but it will also have transactional aspects as well. They will need to be able to ask the right types of HR consulting questions but also be detail oriented and ready and willing to do the process work (data entry); document everything accurately.

Contractors will support workforce optimization and efficiency efforts including:

• Consulting on organizational design, spans of control and reductions in force

• Executing the displacements process and other related organizational change processes

• Identifying, assessing and mitigating potential human capital risks

• Building trusting and collaborative partnerships, effectively contracting with others to deliver identified business outcomes

• Supporting leaders through HR processes and related communications

• Supporting related data analysis and reporting needs

• Other HR Consulting opportunities as assigned

This work requires HR Consulting and/or Employee Relations experience with focus on process execution and risk mitigation.

Recruiting and/or legal BG with strong process orientation and knowledge of employment law will also be considered.

Requires ability to work in dynamic, fast paced environment, balancing multiple competing priorities.

These people could be helping to assist with putting together business cases for displacements along with strategy to move large teams of people within the organization. This person will be helping to make these changes as effectively and efficiently as possible.
