A day in the Life of a Hydroponic Farm Intern with WesleyLife:

• Provide day-to-day operational assistance on the farm including, but not limited to:

• Seeding, transplanting, harvesting, and cleaning

• Working alongside and assisting in the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers

• Helping with packing and delivery of product

• Help with the expansion of farm operation and capacity by assisting in the increasing of production of already existing products along with the trialing and marketing of new products as needed

• Being involved with plant care including balancing pH and nutrients, checking of insects or damage to plants, and general monitoring of the systems and the facility.

• Manage and work alongside volunteers from a variety of diverse backgrounds and experiences

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations one-on-one or in a small/large group setting
