This is a great opportunity to positively impact our overall sales success through not only winning new business, but also enhancing existing relationships!In this role, the qualified individual will analyze detailed information and providing responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) for medium to large Total Retirement Suite prospective clients and existing clients as well as consultant questionnaires and databases.Additional responsibilities may include:Coordinate the assimilation, development, packaging and dissemination of the RFP response. This includes information about the company, retirement plan services, investment options, packaging of fees and much more.Identify additional information needed from the sales and services force (including the Vice President or Director of Sales, Relationship Managers, etc.) to create a custom response and strategically position the RFP response and investment package to meet client needs and expectations.Manage the overall timeline of the RFP to ensure deadlines are met.Utilize knowledge of competitive environment to position Principal at a competitive advantage in the marketplace.Qualifications:Skills required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years' experience required. Finance or Mathematics if preferred.2+ years related experience.Prefer knowledge of all aspects of retirement, including plan design, products and services, investments, laws and regulations, industry standards, and the competitive environment.Experience in a writing capacity is preferred.Successful candidates will have the following:Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.Good keyboard skills with the ability to quickly understand and utilize a variety of PC-based applications including Word, Excel and PDFs.Ability to comprehend and analyze complex information required.Must have ability to work independently and as a team member to meet strict timing deadlines.May travel up to 1-2 times per year.Visa Sponsorship:This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization by Principal.
