Position Summary

The IT Admin Assistant is a seasonal position and the primary responsibility will be to assist the Mom’s Meals IT department with the return to office plan for current remote employees. The contract assignment is scheduled to begin on September 1st and continue on until all necessary employees have been brought back to the office. Other responsibilities for this contract will include inspecting PC hardware for damages and installing hardware/cables at employee workstations. Position requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds and ability to work around/under workstations in tight spaces. No previous IT experience is required. Working hours for this position will be confirmed during the interview process, but could fluctuate per day (4 hours one day, 8 hours another day). Specific hours will be scheduled in advanced, but candidates must be available to work days and early to mid-evenings as assigned.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

  • Inspect PC hardware and peripherals for damage

  • Clean and sanitize PC hardware and peripherals

  • Carry or push cart containing PC hardware and peripherals

  • Install PC and peripherals at desks; plug in cables and power PC on

  • Other similar duties as assigned by IT Management

Required Skills & Experience

  • Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 40 lbs

  • Basic computer and cable knowledge

  • Ability to follow work-flowprocesses set in place by IT Management

  • Ability to work in tight spaces around/under desk workstations

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Previous IT or projectrelated experience

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods

  • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Typical office environment, majority of work performed on computer

  • Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs

  • Must be able to bend, kneel and crawl in tight spaces
