For more information, visit , and connect with us on , , , and .Core ResponsibilitiesPM EquipmentIdentify potentially failing equipment reporting to Manager through work request form.Correctly identify and write down parts needed to build/complete projects to update and maintain the equipment and facility.Predict and correct potential equipment problems.Troubleshoot, maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration, potable water, and boiler systems and their components throughout the facility.Troubleshoot, maintain and repair plant equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, piping systems, and general facility.Perform general mechanical work including installation, fabrication, and repair.Insure work is done in accordance with all plant policies and procedures.Train maintenance employees in all aspects of maintenance.Daily plant and wastewater checks - assist wastewater personnel as needed.Follow all guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures for the Engine Room.Follow all safety rules and policies.Wear proper safety equipment as required, including but not limited to wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, wearing SCBA for a period of 45 minutes, etc.Qualify and maintain hazmat responder status and repair technician status for any refrigeration related incident.Perform all other duties as assigned.QualificationsAssociate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related field preferred. Possess a minimum of two (2) years of general maintenance, construction or specialized maintenance experience. Post secondary education may substitute on a year to year basis for experience at the Plant Engineer's discretion.Possess good mechanical skills, including repair of gearboxes, bearings, etc.Knowledge of AC/DC controls and power electricityKnowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Piping Systems.Experience in Fabrication and tig welding.Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.Possess a high school diploma or GED. Tech school, seminars, in-house training, on-the-job training and vendor training will also be considered.Ability to sketch, read, and understand technical drawings and layouts.Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
