Summary:

Facebook is seeking a forward-thinking Partnerships Manager to join our Education Modernization (EdMod) team. This individual will shepherd the expansion and maturation of EdMod's partner portfolio across our learner Communities globally. We’re looking for someone who leads with empathy, demonstrates a fierce commitment to prioritization, builds relationships with ease, processes high volumes of data quickly and thoroughly, mobilizes others around a shared vision, and possesses an exceptional degree of cultural humility. This role will report to the Head of Strategy & Operations.

Required Skills:

  1. Drives external partner recruitment for program and product adoption across multiple stakeholder audiences (e.g. Afterschool Programming, Guardians, Nonprofits, School District Administration). Establishes and sustains frequent touch-points with prospective partners to build trust, product and/or project confidence, assess needs and present collaboration opportunities that allow partnerships to thrive.

  2. Develops and maintains strong relationships with EdMod’s partner ecosystem, facilitating the achievement of shared business goals and partnership projects. Stewards partners through Facebook’s onboarding process and works with cross functional teams on contract negotiations, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.

  3. Drives funnel optimizations and specific product/feature adoption among partners. Collaborates with marketing and design verticals, as well as, program teams to build and deploy multi-channel campaigns to cross-sell programs/products. Contributes to the development of email journeys and personalized messaging across platforms to drive digital and email marketing conversions.

  4. Executes the EdMod Partnership Strategy in North America and Latin America identifying, managing and scaling key ecosystems and network partnerships. Represents Facebook’s Education Modernization team in external meetings with nonprofit/EdTech executives.

  5. Synthesizes learnings into actionable insights and reports best practices across multiple stakeholder audiences, including program and cross-functional teams. Identifies and shapes action plans on the basis of regional market trends that expand the depth and reach of EdMod’s products and programs. Builds structure, process and operational procedures wherever relevant.

  6. Leads knowledge management across EdMod’s partner portfolio and maintains CRM of partner-related historical information. Builds functionality to support and retain partners. Tracks, analyzes and communicates quantitative metrics and business trends as they emerge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years experience in a partner-facing capacity where audience engagement, relationship management and/or business development acumen was demonstrated.

  2. Partnership development and/or account management experience with nonprofits, education industry or EdTech environment.

  3. Experience leading and handling multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline.

  4. Proven track record of building effective partner ecosystems that include developing automated email journeys and personalized messaging to target partner audiences.

  5. Experience communicating and presenting with a knack for synthesizing and translating complex data into compelling formats.

  6. Well-versed in cross-functional collaboration at all levels of management, both internally and externally, with experience building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-stakes environment.

  7. Sound judgement and decision-making, even in scenarios with limited context and data.

  8. Self-directed learner who quickly adapts to fast moving environments and shifts in priority.

  9. Experience serving as a thought partner to the executive team, program managers and cross-functional teams.

  10. Scrappy, resourceful, action and detail-oriented, with a high ownership to deliver measurable impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Professional level Spanish fluency.

  2. Possesses expertise of existing educational and industry trends, specifically K-12.

  3. Experience using Salesforce Lightning or similar CRM.

  4. Experience using Asana or similar project management tools.
