Description

Robert Half is looking for a payroll specialist to be apart of a role leading the way with dedication to innovation, diversity, integrity, and exceptional service. We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist familiar with UKG Payroll Software to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll procedures, excellent attention to detail and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage compensation packages using UKG payroll software.

  2. Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.

  3. Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, wage deductions etc.

  4. Prepare and process payments accurately and on time.

  5. Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.

  6. Distribute and ensure the correct use of payroll-related documents.

  7. Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g., terminations, new hires).

  8. Document all payroll actions and operations.

  9. Keep up-to-date with legislation and regulations that may affect payroll.

  10. Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.

    Requirements

  11. A minimum of 2 years experience in payroll administration.

  12. Proven experience with UKG payroll software.

  13. In-depth understanding of payroll procedures.

  14. Knowledge of legislation and regulations about payroll.

  15. Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  16. Excellent attention to detail.

  17. Strong organization and time-management abilities.

  18. Experience with Microsoft Office and particularly good at Excel.

  19. Excellent communication skills and a team mentality.
