Program Support, Energy Efficiency Columbia/Charleston/Beaufort/Aiken, SC

To support our growth, we are seeking candidates with interest in utility energy efficiency programs and knowledge of energy efficient technologies associated with commercial building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy efficiency team ensuring that the evaluation, implementation and verification of utility sponsored energy efficiency projects are successfully executed

• Interface with customers and contractors participating in utility sponsored programs

• Monitor and upload incentive applications and assign for review per program policies and procedures

• Review project application forms and submittals by customers, contractors, engineers, consultants and other program participants in order to ascertain compliance with program policies and procedures

• Review invoices for accuracy, as well as tracking program metrics, to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures

• Process paperwork for program incentive payments per established policies and procedures

• Coordinate with or follow up on program quality control activities such as inspections and customer surveys as appropriate

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 + years’ work experience

• 3+ years’ experience with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). An advanced understanding of Excel is a must.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Outstanding analytical, writing and communication skills

• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently

• Comfort in learning and using digital tools

• Utility, energy efficiency or equivalent trade experience a plus

• Experience working with databases

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship management skills

• Ability to prioritize and multitask, and ability to work in a fast pace environment

• Familiarity with energy efficiency, lighting, HVAC and other related technologies
