Job Description Summary

The primary function of this position is to provide architectural guidance, technological recommendations and transition strategies that support the development and implementation of initiatives based on Common Delivery, Services Based Architecture, and Agility for complex and/or multiple projects.

Job Description

Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations for information and analytic solutions. Sets architectural direction through architecture blueprints and ensures adherence through design reviews. Adopts and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance. Works closely with key stakeholders to build relationships and to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Influences technical direction of projects and system support. Displays demonstrated ability in communicating with both technical and business constituencies, both verbally and otherwise.

Expectation

  • Provides deep expertise in enterprise data and information management methods and standards.

  • Work closely with the architecture and design teams to establishing implementation patterns and architecture for data and analytic solutions.

  • Promotes data sharing, quality, and reuse across the organization. Develops guidelines and best practices to ensure data standardization and consistency.

  • Define the high-level information repositories and information flows that will meet the requirements of the business strategies and business processes in partnership with the enterprise.

  • Represent PI Tech's requirements to the Data Management and Enterprise teams to influence cloud analytics, master data management, and API strategies.

  • Work with internal Customers and Stakeholders to establish high-level architecture and design, to explore solution alternatives.

  • Collaborate with data integration and solution designers on decisions relating to information and analytic solution development. Review integration solution designs for alignment with architecture.

  • Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new Features and Capabilities.

  • Conduct POC/POTs and related MVP for new ideas and solutions, working closely with project implementation teams in implementing the MVP to a real-world use case

  • Influences Personal Insurance and neighbor team Program Increments planning to ensure project delivery.

Experience

  • Experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies - Spark, MongoDB, HIVE

  • Experience with Data Integration technologies and methods - ab Initio and Talend

  • Experience with Sales Force Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience with Cloud Data and Analytics Technologies a plus. Experience with Kinesis, S3, Snowflake, Athena, Databricks a plus.

  • Experience leading Business Intelligence and Reporting. Knowledge of MicroStrategy a plus.

  • Experience integrating enterprise Master Data Management solutions into production processes and workflows.

  • Experience with application architecture and design experience with technologies like NodeJS/Python

  • Full stack development experience (.NET / Java) a plus.

  • Experience with service oriented architecture, REST and middleware technologies like Express.js a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture required.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture preferred.
