Role Summary:

The Sr. Sales Manager – CrossFleet is responsible for obtaining orders and sales by driving and implementing sales strategy and meeting assigned budget for customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Sr. Sales Manager – CrossFleet, you will:

  • Identify opportunities to drive volume growth on Other Original Equipment Manufacturer (oOEM) Gas Turbine fleets utilizing GE evolving solutions portfolio

  • Develop value equations for oOEM Gas turbine upgrades and service solutions

  • Work with appropriate Sales / Operations counterparts to identify target opportunities and upgrade potential

  • Proactively collaborate with Region Sales Directors and Account Managers on oOEM campaigns to drive opportunity creation

  • Develop strategies to grow GE penetration of the oOEM Gas Turbine fleet

  • Provide feedback to oOEM Product Line Management on customer solution needs for New Product Introduction (NPI) program consideration and help complete market assessments to justify investments


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical field sales / commercial, service and/or application engineering experience


  • Ability and willingness to travel, as required Desired Characteristics:

  • 5 years experience with Gas turbine technology preferred

  • Proven sales success

  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels of the customer organization

  • Ability to effectively lead a multi-functional team

  • High Energy, self-starter who is passionate about achieving aggressive growth targets

  • Contemporary understanding of the energy market
