Key responsibilities

• Head and keep a close watch on all installed systems and infrastructure

• Write down and keep up custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• Give 2nd and 3rd level support

• Cooperate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Be actively involved to assure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Install, maintain, configure, and test operating systems, system management tools, and application software

• Assist in the design of information and operational support systems

• Assert backup, security, and redundancy strategies

• Check and examine application performance for potential bottlenecks, name possible solutions, and operate with developers to apply those fixes

Requirements

• If you have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems, you will be strongly preferred for this position

• This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has experience with automation software

• Applicants who have solid networking knowledge are preferred

• Applicants who have experience with monitoring systems are preferred

• We are particularly looking for candidates who have experience with virtualization and containerization

• If you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks, you will be strongly preferred for this position

• Applicants who solid scripting skills are preferred

• Vmware Infrastructure experience

• Strong familiarity with VMware

• Adeptness in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD)

• Demonstrated knowledge of Agile project management

• Devops Engineering experience preferred

• Solid understanding of DevOps

• Experience with Virtualization Technology
