CTG has an immediate opening for a one-year REMOTE contract for a VMWare Integration Engineer. Client is in Eastern time.

Job Description:

Provide engineering and architecture support for Client's systems, focusing on interoperability enterprise shared services engagements and projects. Leverage experience as an applications solution architect, including expertise in communication and hosting infrastructure, such as virtual machines, networking, VMWare, and monitoring. Apply knowledge of enterprise applications leveraging distributed data. Leverage expertise in analytics, including conveying complex technical issues to non-technical leadership and team members. Identify risks and issues.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent

• At least 15 years of professional experience (23 years if degree requirement is not met)

An Expert Integration Engineer must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained. Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed. The expert integration engineer must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. The expert integration engineer must be cost conscience as well addressing goals.
