Aerotek Welder 1st Shift - Excellent Long Term Benefits in DES MOINES, Iowa

Assist with general production and assembly on the production floor. You will get the chance to be cross trained in many different areas. No 2 days are the same!

Will assist with assembling steel products and assisting in set-up for the welding team.

Read and interpret engineering drawing and prints to weld and assemble products.

Experience with blueprints, MIG welding, and sub arc welding are a plus.

Operate motorized material moving equipment to transport materials including overhead crane and jib hoist.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Production assembly experience - 1+ years

Previous welding experience - 1+ years

Ability to read blueprints - 1+ years

Ability to lift 50lbs

Mechanical aptitude - 1+ years

Ability to use power tools (saws, punches, etc.) - 1+ years
