Description

Overall Responsibilities :

  • Provide advertising and marketing services to current clients as well as prospecting for new clients through outbound sales calls, emails, and other marketing initiatives as available. Computer input, proofing, emailing proofs to clients and general follow-up is necessary to facilitate the consistent flow of advertising orders.

    Specific Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a “customer comes first” environment with pro-active commitment to internal and external customer service.

  • Work in a team environment with all sales executives and coordinators to accomplish deadline standards, quality control, revenue growth and expense control within a cohesive and efficient department.

  • Coordinate all ad copy, ad creation, ad tracking, “parent and child” ad pages, etc.

  • Review customer proofs and be responsible for revising and approving those in compliance with deadlines, using the programs and departments within our disposal.

  • Answer phone calls and create an outbound sales call flow.

  • Adhere to all department standards and procedures.

  • Participate in company committees as requested.

  • Actively participates in the Great Game of Business.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills : Logical, creative, analyze details accordingly, handle sales objections and ability to communicate clear and concise instructions, verbally and in writing. Adept at layout and copywriting (as needed), time management and handling details. Ability to work in a face-paced environment, open to change and willingness to be flexible. Advertising software knowledge helpful, but not necessary.

Knowledge : High school diploma or equivalent. Familiar with various technology devices such as computers, tablets and mobile phones. Previous sales/customer service, office administration and computer experience required. Working knowledge of MS Office products, Google Suite of products and the Internet required. Experience in outbound phone sales a plus.
