The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist understands that the future of marketing lies in the data: contacts, clicks, conversions, and more. In this role, you’ll go far beyond analysis. You’ll have the power to take your insights and apply them to our email, search engine, and digital marketing efforts—harnessing the power of technology and automation to reach target accounts and nurture them into qualified opportunities for the sales team to pursue.

The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist will interact with all members of the Marketing team, as well as other divisions within Cartegraph under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager.


  • Support our efforts to build a programmatic account-based marketing program to reach prospect accounts with personalized messaging at scale

  • Develop our multi-channel attribution model and reporting

  • Glean insights from your analysis to allocate effort and spend—continuously improving marketing decisions

  • Manage the marketing database, ensuring data integrity for daily operations across the sales and marketing team (e.g. uploading contacts, deduping, ensuring contact fields are correctly populated, list management)

  • Leverage the marketing database to drill down to various audience segments for effective outbound marketing campaigns

  • Create and manage marketing automations to drive behavior across the buyer journey (e.g HubSpot workflows and sequences)

  • Oversee paid search and social media efforts: creating ads and audiences, running experiments, managing budget, optimizing spend based on performance, and reporting results (Google Ads, Bing, and LinkedIn)

  • Set up remarketing campaigns to move leads through the funnel and reduce sales cycles

  • Work with the marketing team to create ads, emails, and landing pages

  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of opportunity and performance

  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery and optimization to drive digital marketing results

  • Troubleshoot data sync, automation, and integration issues within marketing tech stack

  • Run A/B tests on ads, landing pages, and emails to optimize performance

  • Collect and analyze data, identifying trends and making adjustments to maximize ROI

  • Create and monitor reports, regularly communicating results and progress to management and colleagues

  • Research and analyze competitor online marketing efforts

  • Perform any related duties assigned by management



Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, preferably at a high-growth company with an emphasis on account-based marketing at scale

  • Power user of Excel, Power BI or similar business analytics tools

  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce and Hubspot or comparable tools

  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Moz, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Skills and Attributes

  • Goal-driven with a keen interest in search and digital marketing

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience generating and sharing digital marketing reports

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of campaigns simultaneously

  • Ability to learn new industries quickly, applying this knowledge to marketing initiatives

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong writing, grammar, spelling, proofreading, and researching skills
