Job TitleIndustrial Electrical TechnicianJob Description SummaryLocation: Fort Dodge, IASalary: Full Time - $24 - $32.70 per hour, depending on experienceTitle: Industrial Electrical Technician - Mid-Level SkilledThis role performs Electrical and instrumentation Services including but not limited to being responsible for the calibration and maintenance of process instrumentation within a large industrial facility.Job DescriptionYou will be required to work in a team environment. The use of standard industrial power tools is required in this role. You will be required at times, to work any shift, weekends and holidays as needed. This is a mid-level role.Key Responsibilities Utilize industrial powered vehicles (RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift)Electrical Electrician: must have a working knowledge and proficiency with installing, repairing and maintaining industrial electrical components and equipment. Lighting, electrical protective devices, motors, inverters, soft starts, wye-delta systems along with hard wired and ethernet based control; Must have a working knowledge of schematics, mathematics, preventive/predictive technologies, basic computer literacy, safe electrical test and measurement best practicesA working knowledge and proficiency with installing, repairing and maintaining industrial electrical components and equipmentA working knowledge and proficiency with installing, repairing and maintaining industrial electrical components and equipmentAn awareness and ability to perform calibration and documentation of functions pertaining to the key elements of: Flow Measurement, Level Measurement, Pressure, Temperature, Analytical Instrumentation and other duties as assignedA working knowledge of schematics, mathematics, preventive/predictive technologies, basic computer literacy, safe electrical testing and measurement best practicesBe aware and able to follow standards laid out by NECA 101EducationA minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent GEDElectronics or Industrial Electricity preferred, but not requiredEssential requirements A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent GEDWorking knowledge of Industrial Electrical settingsExperience operating industrial vehicles and power toolsAbility to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state required qualifications; ability to obtain ISA's CCST Level 1 Certification2-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.Desirable criteria Knowledge of common facilities operations and operating toolsInstrumentation familiarityGreat work ethicA desire to grow with an organizationPhysical demands or the jobAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsThe ability to stand or sit for long periods of timeAbility to work at elevated altitudesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.CandW Services is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative?
